This worksheet helps you calculate the daily canvassing and phone banking hours needed to meet your GOTV goals. By entering campaign-specific data — like average door attempts and call attempts per hour — it estimates how many hours your team needs to turn out your target voters.

The formulas built into this sheet account for the reality that you'll knock on a lot of doors more than once and call many numbers multiple times. These estimates are conservative, and might feel ambitious early on while you're still building your volunteer base — but if you work toward them consistently, your campaign will be ready when it's time to turn voters out.
