Local politics rarely make national headlines — but local leadership is where most people experience daily democracy, it’s what determines the quality of daily life for most Americans. That’s why NDTC is hosting a bootcamp specifically targeted to help local leaders build up party infrastructure, coordinate effectively, and lay down strategies to win in 2026 and beyond.

This bootcamp is designed for self-identified local leaders, from county party chairs to executive committee members, to emerging organizers who are ready to level up on leadership. Through four intensive 60-minute sessions, you'll gain practical skills in the areas that will be most critical for 2026:

  Learn how to set achievable GOTV goals, coordinate effectively with candidate campaigns, and maximize your local party's impact on turnout

• Building Your Team:

  Master recruitment strategies for precinct chairs and first-time candidates, from identifying prospects to making the persuasive ask

• Sustainable Fundraising:

  Develop confidence in setting fundraising goals, cultivating donor relationships, and making asks that secure your organization's financial future

• Long-Term Planning:

  Hear from experienced leaders in a panel about building a quarterly roadmap that takes you through election day and into post-election growth
