Combating Disinformation for Democratic Campaigns

Welcome to “Combating Disinformation for Democratic Campaigns,” the second course in our two-part series on identifying and combating false information and online attacks.

The first course, “An Individual’s Guide to Combating Disinformation,” focuses on teaching individual strategies for identifying and combating mis- and disinformation, mostly online, but also in face-to-face situations. These tactics are useful for anyone in Democratic politics, whether that’s as a volunteer or a candidate. 

This course will zoom out to focus on strategies for combating disinformation specifically for Democratic campaigns. We’re going to assume you have a general understanding of misinformation, social media, and the broader information landscape, so the content of this course will focus on higher-level strategies and tactics.
